چکیده

Coronavirus, particularly the genus Betacoronavirus, has been identified as a deadly source of numerous acute respiratory epidemics worldwide, affecting both humans and animals. The includes Covid-19, Severe syndrome coronavirus, Middle East syndrome-related coronaviruses. In contrast, others are expected to have risk transformation such bovine porcine coronavirus. We screened set natural plant water extract which red onion (Allium cepa), shallot ampeloprasum), watercress (Eruca sativa), wormwood (Artemisia absinthium) that weighed dissolved into specific concentration then filtrated by biological filters. These extracts known for their strong inhibition cytopathogenic effect many pathogens. cytotoxicity assay extracted plants was evaluated MTT using serial concentrations from (10-100 ug) (20-200ug). antiviral mentioned above application on Madin Derby Bovine Kidney (MDBK) cell line infected with virus. It showed pronounced coronavirus (BCoV) in comparison control untreated microscopic examination, optical density index measurement. This work encourages these trials treatment clinical cases animals infection. potential novel approach against infections
